Well, maybe hold off until the upgrade is forced for some other reason? That's always the way I've done things. Yeah, I want a new ABC, but I might as well stick with this ABC until it has to be replaced, and do it then. All my whims don't have to be fulfilled on my own timeline.
This is the antithesis of "you only live once," follow it at your own peril of boringness.
