There's no question that the QS8s are better than the QS4s. With Axiom centers and surrounds, it's 100% certain that if you pay more, you'll get a better speaker. Whether the QS8 is $235 better than the QS4 is a different story. It depends how much s/he values that money.

To put it in perspective, think of all the CDs and DVDs s/he could buy with $235. Would s/he rather use that money for upgraded surround speakers -- which are important, but by no means "pivotal" speakers in a HT system -- or would s/he rather use the money to buy material that puts the system to good use?
