Being a fan of external amps myself I think I'm qualified to call this bs. It could be a safety factor leaving those amps on. If you ever have the unfortunate accident of those amps going south (catch on fire) with the family sleeping this could turn bad real quick.

I think this is a very bad practice to get into.
