Parin, the 5003(and any other competently designed receiver)will "work with" the M80s. The question, as always, would be whether in your specific use you'd play it so loud and long that it would overheat and shut down as a protective measure. It can certainly be said that for the vast majority of uses at levels that don't cause permanent hearing damage it would do fine.

The M80 is slightly above average in sensitivity and requires less power than many other speakers for a given sound level. Also, although nominally rated at 4 ohms, that's the minimum, rather than average, and the the M80 is an 8 ohm speaker over much of its operating range of frequencies.
