I am in the process of putting together an Axiom HT system. I wish I could listen to them first!! All the great reviews are making it difficult not to do it.
The room they will be in is 16' X 24' with a 16' vaulted ceiling. It was recommended that I go with the M60s for the front, QS8 surrounds, VP100 center and the EP350 sub. Which is the Epic 60 system.
My original budget WAS $1500.
My questions:
1) QS8 vs QS4. Is there that big a difference? I thought the surrounds were the least important.
2) VP100 vs VP150. Should I invest more in the center?
3) EP350 vs EP175. Is there that big a difference?
4) Any thoughts on the Factory Outlet? I can save about $200 that way, although I would have to wait. I've read some good things about the great condition that they are in, but with my luck I will get a "true" factory second.
Reading many of the posts, I have a good feeling what the responses will be. Also, I have a Denon AV receiver.
