Thanks to Johnny Be Good (real nice guy) I have M80's to match my VP150 and QS8's.

My first impression - WOW

But the ohm question is alive. On the website, it says it's a 4ohm speaker. On the speaker itself, it says 6 ohm. If you look here:
http://www.soundstagemagazine.com/measurements/axiom_m80ti/
The curve tells me the M80's are closer to a 5.5 ohm speaker. My Denon 1602 (low end receiver) drives them perfectly fine so far, which is about 4 hours of usage. Bass is overpowering and it's rated 70wpc at 8 ohm, 110wpc at 6ohm.

SO, if ever you have an amp that you're not sure can drive the 4 ohm load of the M80's, I would think it would. It seems to never drop below 4 and average somehwere between 5 and 6.

Should Axiom change the website to say it's a 6ohm speaker?
