Hi Tom, it's really simple.
You remove 4 screws and the hatch comes off.
I took it in the garage and removed more screws, this released the inside plate that has the latch on it. You then slip the hatch into the new cover. Helps if you have a very bad vocabulary, leaving in the sun to warm up really helps too as the fit is very tight.
Then simply attach the inside plate, take it out to the car and attach with the same 4 screws.

Fingernails, or a small screwdriver will pop the cover off the active handling/selective ride buttons. Put the piping in the slot and pop the cover back on. This was actually the hardest part.
