I finally have all my Axioms together (still waiting for the subwoofer - next week). I have a 7.1 going with my old sub. My question is this. Has anyone tested this out, is it just me, or my receiver, but does 5.1 DTS sound better than DTS-ES MATRIX. I'm not talking about 6.1 DTS Discrete. I'm pretty sure that's superior. But this is 5.1 being matrixed to 7.1 (or 6.1). At least for me...it seems it's effected all the channels in some way. Perhaps it's my receiver? Perhaps it's the format? Or maybe I'm being crazy on this? I'd love to hear your experience with this. Thanks!
