I guess there is always the urge to have the latest and greatest, however, it has probably come now finally to the audio "law of diminishing returns". I have a Yamaha CX-A5200 Pre-Pro that is actually 4 years old yet it contains both Dolby Atmos/ DTX and all the other configurations, 2.3 HDCP, still receiving firmware updates and the DAC in it is the same one used in Yamaha's latest flagship AVR so what would be the point of buying something newer, it certainly isn't going to sound any better? If one insists on wanting 2.1 40-48 ghz along with all the gaming features(VRR, ALLM, free sync, G sync, etc.) there are separate switchers now available for that so one can now run just the audio into the AVR/Pre-pro and the video direct into the monitor. You don't have to buy a whole new AVR/Pre-Pro to get them.

I have been reading in recent months with many raving about AURO 3D surround processing, yet, this past year the company that developed it filed for bankruptcy so who knows what happens with them going forward and the IMAX Enhanced(that uses DTX SS), video features only function with a television that has that feature built in which as far as I know the only brand is Sony.
