I am having the same debate myself. I am waiting to A/B the two models when my local dealers start receiving stock on the 750 - we are always a few months behind on the new models here in Canada.

I realize that this in itself doesn't guarantee better sound quality, but I think it's important to note that the weight of the the RX-V750 is 27.8 pounds versus the 34.2 pounds of the RX-V1400.
