I agree. The DVD player has very high quality DAC's. In this CASE I too would go with the analog connections. I'm getting the impression that I'm a little "old school" here.
It's known fact that receivers are always more advanced in technology than the equipment connecting to it. Obviously, not in this case
. I also, looked at the specs after the fact. I just like the convenience of adjusting the format via the receiver not the DVD player
I walked into this one...
