The wife has gone and upgraded us from Townhouse to house and more importantly from room 10 x 12 to 19 x 21. Room has an opening in the middle of the room (5 ft wide) that opens to the kitchen, so seating area is 12 - 16 ft back. I have a Marantz 7200 with a nice small BA 90X surround set. As much as I like the speakers, I feel I HAVE to upgrade the speakers as well. Pity me. I will not take possession of the house until next April, but need to give a layout for the HT pre-wire now. I have been very interested in the Axioms over the last couple of years, and see this as an opportunity. I know enough to hurt myself but not enough to move forward. So, I thought the site of the best speakers would have the best boards. From what I have seen, this is true. SO:
1. M60 - VP100 - QS4 - ep175 - is it enough?
2. QS4s - side or back mounted?
3. In wall wire - 12 or 14 or 16 gauge?
