Must be great to live in Alaska. The last time I was in Alaska I stumbled upon a 3 day Blues Festival right outside of Homer. It never actually got dark, so my friends and I kind of lost track of time... it was a very memorable day(s), not sure how long we were their -- I know it cost me a day of fishing!
Alaska is my favorite state, nothing compares.
Enjoy your house, and speakers -- I doubt you have any problems with neighbors and turning the volume up. I bet the acoustics are pretty interesting in that house.
