This sounds like a bit of a rare bird of a player your looking for. I don't know of anything off the top of my head that can do everything listed...
I have found that very often its the cheaper players that seem to offer the most in flexibility of format and disc types.
The Apex players and Norcents in the past have been very good for this kind of thing and very upgradeable.
I'd suggest browse around
Nerd.out and ask some questions there. The people there love moding their players to do all sorts of wonderful things and I'd bet they could likely point you in the right direction for a player of the kind you want.
If you can afford it the computer idea really would be the ultimate for now and for the future as its easily upgradeable. You'd also beable to play with some of the High Definition Windows Media content currently available.
