Was looking at my M60's and noticed that on my left speaker you could see the white fiber damping material covering the inside opening of the front & rear lower ports (rear upper port was totally clear no fiber visable at all). However on my right speaker only on the lower rear port was white fiber covering the inside opening. (low front port could see white fiber but inside opening of port was not covered & upper rear was same left no white fiber visable at all.

Also the VP150 center has white fiber in it while both QS8's have none. Both are sealed cabinets and was wondering if QS8's should have white fiber in it.

So my questins are:

1. Should QS8's have white fiber in them or not?

2. Should the M60 front & rear lower inside opening of ports have white fiber tight against them? Also for the rear upper ports should any white fiber be visable?

I am thinking that this white fiber can shift around during shipping. I would think that proper placement of it would make a sonic difference.
