Yes, it's all carpeted, but there's a doorway in the way on one side, so it might be tough to run the wire under that (?) I'm a new homeowner, and have zero experience with this sort of thing.
I checked out some of that super-thin AR wire @ Best Buy (AP1850MF) at $40 for 50 feet; that looks like it would be perfect. My gut tells me I'd be giving up some acoustics in using something so flimsy; but with some of the other posts on this board it sounds like I need not worry.
