As others have pointed out, room size does make a differance, if you check my other posts there are pictures of my Axiom set up. Yes, I have 7.1 and using the EP600, and the system works very well. But I do have 10 ' - 12' of area behind my seating area. Once the amp issue is resolved, the only thing I have left in the speaker plan is perhaps a second EP600, other than that, the 7.1 system will have been worth the time and cost, at least for my listening preferences.
