Alaska.
I'll split the costs with ya if my number comes up. But I wouldn't be too concerned about that. I never win raffles, drawings or even at slot machines.

Well that's good to know Mike, looks like I'll be splitting the shipping cost to south Florida then.

Sorry about that, dude... as much as I complain about people misspelling my name, I should be able to spell other people's names right...

Don't you worry one bit Mike, I never win diddly squat either...I believe you are in good shape!
'Jon' LOL...reminds me of a guy I once worked with, spelled his name J-o-n and if somebody ever spelled it J-o-h-n the dude would go completely nuts. I suppose I could understand, I remember whenever I was a youngster back in Oklahoma all of the old people would call me Dick, god I hated that name...even at 7 years old I just knew it wasn't right. Different nowadays though, my wife calls me that sometimes but for some reason she thinks my last name is Head.

Well John, if it's any consolation to you, my last name is Richard, without the "s" on the end. If I fail to make that ABSOLUTELY CLEAR, I invariably get "Richards" as my last name.
For 55 years, when asked my name, I've said "that's Richard, no "s," so many times, that I sometimes think my last name is Richardnoess.

Yeah, I'm Carlile. Pronounced as spelled, like Carlisle or Carlyle. C-A-R-L-I-L-E. "C-A-R-L-what?"
Also:
Mr. um...Charlie? Mr. um... Carlily?
One thing about Indian call centers... they pronounce my name right.

Jack I must admit, that would be very difficult for the masses to not put an 's' on the back of your last name. I can see where it would take my slow brain a time or two to adjust!

As simple as Mike is to pronounce, many people still screw that up. I just don't understand how they get Jerk / A$$hole / Prick / S-O-B / Bastard, and my girlfriend's favorite, "buthead".
I don't mind though. They're just mistaken. I'm an angle and very easy to get along with......sometimes.
What really irritates me is when people call me "Drew". I find it disrespectful and start having military flashbacks of drill instructors and arrogant officers or higher ranking enlisted men barking out my last name. I never refer to someone by their surname as a rule. If I do, it starts with a Mr, Mrs, Miss.

Mike - We seem to share many of the same appellations, except your girlfriend seems to be advanced. IT is my wife of 16 years who calls me butthead - your girl got there a LOT faster.
