I would like to have speakers (qs8) in between my rears and fronts. How would I go about doing such a thing? I am already planning on having one qs8 behind me (6.1) with m33's on the side(right next to the sofa).
Would it make a big difference? Is it worth the extra $$$? I need some advice.
Thanks in advance.

R, it isn't clear what you're aiming for. You'll already have two M3s playing side surround material and located between your rear QS8 and front M60s. All the channels are already taken care of(except possibly a 7th back speaker for a 7.1 setup). Where would these extra QS8s be located and what material would be fed to them?

I'm with John, a little confused by your question. In between your rears and your fronts would be your surrounds. Your already talking about using M3's for the left/right surrounds. If your talking about replacing the m3's with Qs8's, I'd be for that as they will do a better job in the Surround category than the direct radiating speakers.

I think the original post was talking about running more than one surround per side, like a larger movie theater. If so, I would probably add another vote for "that's why people buy QSx surrounds, to get the same effect as a large room with lots of surround speakers".
Unless the room is really large I don't *think* multiple direct radiating surrounds would be as effective as a good set of multipole surrounds.

I most likely will be exchanging the m3's, once they arrive, for the qs8's. Thanks for the help.

To clear up some confusion and you will still have a 6.1 setup after you return the m3's correct? M60 for fronts, vp150 for center duty and three qs8's for surrounds. With an ep350 sub.
Enjoy my friend.

You are correct, after rearranging my living room, I have decided to have three qs8's for surrounds, m60 fronts, vp150 center, and ep350 sub.
I am looking forward to there arrival!
