I felt much the same about the four years I spent in Albuquerque. Beautiful city and I'd be happy to live there except that it's a bazillion miles from anywhere. Umpteen hours to Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, etc. It's just an island, and if the things you want to see and the activities you enjoy can't be found in town, you're screwed.

Actually, chesseroo tells me his brother lives in Arlington, so maybe the next time he comes down to visit him, Bren can catch a ride....

If you can't go to Canada, bring Canada to you.

I always thought Winnipeg was right on the way between Cold Lake and Flin Flon... if you ever find yourself driving from Cold Lake to Flin Flon you can stop in and say howdy to Bren...

Bren you can't feel too bad about this, at least you are still on Canada's Primary Highway! Well if anyone decides on the road trip to Alaska, Saskatoon is on the way. Might be a good idea for the winner of the charity draw NH is holding - Regina is between Winnipeg & Saskatoon so you could pick up your amp in person. Scratch, that last thought, i'm going to win....
