LOL! YIPES! That EP600 makes the M60s look teeny.
The room looks very nice, and comfortable. Nothing to be ashamed of at all. You might experiment with aiming the M22s in the rear a bit more straight out from the wall, as opposed to the downward angle at which you have them. If you're heavily into multichannel music (SACD/DVD-A), that's probably the way to go. But, for HT, the idea is to disperse the sound a bit, rather than have it shooting directly at the seating area. Regardless, if you prefer them aimed directly at you, that's the way they should be set up.

Thanks Jack! I was floored by the size of the EP600 as well. I knew the dimensions beforehand but was still shocked when I actually got it. I would not trade this subwoofer for anything now though. I do tend to watch and listen to concert DVDs and multichannel music more than movies. I think that I will try to aim the M22s more towards the center of the room just to see how it sounds per your suggestion.

Very nice. The 600 must be a great addition. Congratulations again!

Just to be sure I'm not confusing you, The left to right aim of the 22s is OK (though you could experiment with that, too, if you wish). It's more the up and down angle. You have them sorta aimed at the floor of the room. Try tilting them up so they are aimed several feet over your head when seated, as opposed to directly at your ears. And, by all means, aim them where you feel they sound the best. My opinion means squat, particularly since my ears are here in Ohio, and your ears are right there in the room.

Wow the EP600 is HUGE. It dwarfs the M60s.

David, No need for comparing. I like your setup alot. The colors that you chose for that room is perfect. I love the red sofas. Newf, also has red sofas and I might just have to get me some.
One question that I have for you. Is there any reason why you didn't put the M22's on the side walls or on stands?

nothing to be ashamed of at all my friend. IF anything, I am envious of you. I can only dream of having that ep600.
As for red sofa's, don't make the mistake of calling my sofa's red around my woman. I even called them burgandy which resulted in her uttering some strange words to me. I don't know what "color" they are technically at least to the female kind, but I know they definitely are not "red"

The M22s are actually on the side walls, slightly behind the primary seating location. I don't plan to go to 7.1. I had them on stands at one point, but I was forced to put them behind the loveseat and beside the couch. The stands weren't tall enough to get the speakers above the furniture. I also had to put the loveseat at an angle because it would otherwise block the entry from the french doors (not shown in my pics). The seating is not ideal for listening as I am about two feet left of the center of the room. The current set up meets the WAF, though. The room is 13.5 x 17 x 10 and is enclosed.

Also see you are a fan of Didier Lorenco...
Nice set up...I had the M22's on 31" Sanus stands at the back of my room at one time...worked real well as surrounds.

I found the Didier Lourenco paintings at Kirkland's for the right price. They go nicely with the other jazz art in my den. I also have this picture below of Louis Armstrong's West End Blues 78rpm record.

Great piece of memorabilia! Love Satchmo...have an LP "Louis and Ella" which is an excellent recording of two unique voices.
We are working on trying to decorate our great room with jazz and New Orleans art...
Lorenco at Kirklands, huh? May have to check that out...
Looking good otherwise...
Best Regards,

Re: Lourenco
You could be the proud owner of an original, though I suppose you wouldn't have any $$ left over then for any HT system...

Ha ha, that's awesome. I just saw another "Link Police" post as I was browsing the earlier posts and thought "oh god". I didn't see an immediately apparent way to link my url (other than adding the <a href manually), so just assumed it wasn't possible...

Your answer is in the FAQ. Basically, it's [ url=http://www.thepage.com ]the link[ /url ] without the spaces. Images are similar.
