Just placed my order!

Now the waiting begins.

I ordered one pair of M80's, two pairs of QS8's, and after much thought, the VP150.

For as much as I really wanted them in Boston or Mansfield Beech, I decided to go with Black due to the designs I have planned for my theater room.

As soon as I get my website squared away (updated, and redesigned) I'll post pics. That is of course after they arrive. Until then, here's the run down of my equipment.

Front Projector: Panasonic PT-AE900U
Screen: DIY 92"
HD STB: Motorola DCT6412
DVD Player: Sony ES DVP-NS3100ES
CD/SACD Player: Sony ES SCD-C2000ES
Amplifier: Outlaw Audio 2200 M-Block's (L/R Mains)
Amplifier: Outlaw Audio 2200 M-Block (Center)
Receiver: Pioneer Elite VSX-54TX
Mains: Axiom M80ti's (On The Way)
Center: Axiom VP150 (On the Way)
Surrounds: Axiom QS8 (On The Way)
Rear Surrounds: Axiom QS8 (On The Way)
Subwoofer: HSU VTF-3 MK 2
Powercenter: Belkin PureAV PF60

You are going to be amazed by how that system sounds. I have had my speakers for a bit more than a month now and I still can't believe my ears. Enjoy!

Sutter, I'm a little concerned on your choice of projector. The reason I say this is if I recall the room your planning is not huge, at least compared to mine The newer Panny's and Sanyo's are becoming longer throw type projectors. When you start getting to the shorter throw distances, lower lumens is recommended. Can you refresh my memory on your room size, projector throw to the screen, and also confirm that your 97" is width, not diagonal. Have you looked at this calculator?

Randy,

Well, I've never held a lot of stock on those Calculators. Every one I've dealt with hasn't been extremelly accurate. All I know is my screen is 92" diagonal, 80" in width. I sit about, well the couch is somewhere between 10'-11' back, but from eye to screen, it's a little over 12'. I suffer from no SDE at all, and I've got very keen eyes, even sharper ears. I consider it more of a curse then a blessing at times. lol

Be that as it may though, nobody who has been over has seen any trace of SDE either, so I haven't felt the need to return it. I've got the projector itself set up about 15'-16' back. I'd have to go downstairs and measure again to give you the exact number.
