craig- that teaser is pretty cool! I just saw it last night on the official site. I love that they used John William's music from Krypton and Jor-El's lines from the first one. Unfortunately not a lot of stuff on Brandon, though the dude certainly looks the part! I've read in a couple of places that the guy's good, so that gives me a warm fuzzy about the flick. Oh yeah, saw Goblet of Fire last night with the wife; man what a freaking good movie. Definitely creepy in spots, got to "enjoy" whining and crying kids all over the theater for this one!

I really hope it is a successful movie, he really comes from a great family, and he is a nice kid.

Thanks for reminding me of that Peter, I guess I kind of forgot I was on TV. Well, at least fame hasn't gotten to me.

I wish Brandon all the luck in the film. From first impressions, it looks like it will be a big hit.

Now THIS is what I'm talking about!! A majority of the stuff I've seen on the flick looks good, but this is the kind of money shot that seals the deal!

I think I am more interested in this than the X-men movie that comes out at the same time. I heard Routh's voice in one of the previews, and he had the kind of voice I would expect Superman to have. I don't think heill measure to Reeves, the definative Superman, but he looks better than Dean Cain.

X-Men 3, which is taking flack for casting Kelsey Grammer as Hank McCoy (of which I'll be interested in seeing how the ol' boy handles the "Beast crouch" or the "hang upside down and read") - I'm hoping this movie doesn't bury the lineage they've created so far.

So far the casting seems to be bang on... though I would have never guessed Hugh "Leopold" Jackman as Wolverine, or Halle Berry as Storm, but for the new one, Shawn Ashmore looks the part of Bobby Drake, Ben Foster as Warren Worthington I'll have to see, and Ellen Page (best known to us Canadians as Mr. Leahy's daughter on Trailer Park Boys) should make a good Kitty Pride.

(edit: just realized Bobby Drake was already in the second movie...)

Hey, there IS something we both like! I'm really excited about X3. I loved the first two, although the second was better.

X1 and X2 are regulars at our house. Hope X3 is as good or better.

I actually like the tv superman of the B&W era. Can't remember the names. May Ajax can help me.

bren, yeah i agree about x3. i really want it to be good, but with all the crap I've been hearing about how bad Brett Ratner is, the sheer number of mutant characters in the flick, and the general ill will towards the casting I can't help but start to doubt. The teaser for the flick was pretty good, but the never showed Beast in action.(And Jean Grey in short shorts is always good! ) That's probably gonna be the toughest part of the movie, trying to show off the legendary Beast agility...but I've got hope. And personally I think Kelsey Grammer was an inspired bit of casting, he can do the brains (Frasier) mixed in with the sense of fun(Periscope Down, gotta love that flick!).

bugbitten- are you talking about the old George Reeves show? the one where the criminals would unload all six shots at Supes with him standing there taking it in the chest, but when they throw the gun he ducks? they just released that on DVD a couple of months ago, i've yet to get it though. it's definitely on the list!

p.s.- and was that a "fastball special" towards the end of the X3 trailer?? sure looked like it! woohoo!!

I'm looking forward to X3 as well. I think Kelsey Grammer as Hank McCoy is brilliant casting. I can't think of a better choice. Hell, he's already furry.
