Well since I've got such fast and nice answer on my first question post, here is another one :
almost every Receiver have a Switched AC outlet on the back of the receiver that allow you to plug other component that will be switched with the receiver.
if I check on the back of my RX-V2500 the outlet state :
120V 60hz
100W MAX total
0.8A Max total
this kind of concern me since I am plugging my Subwoofer amp in this outlet and my amp is a Samson S1000 who carry a 700W total power.
should I been concern about that or is an AC power Outlet work exactly like a multi switch or a power bar and can supply all the power I need?
thanks

You should not plug your sub amp into the switched outlet on the receiver. That's a BIG no no.

All of my components and sub are plugged into my Tripplite HTPowerbar10, not through my AVR.

The switched outlets on recievers are not designed to handle high cuurent devices such as a sub, they are mainly used for other audio equipment such as a cd player.

Agreed. Plug that sub in somewhere else. Switched outlets on the back of receivers are also known as are "convenience" outlets and are meant to power devices like a CD or DVD player.

Me too, don't want you to have any hardware problems- blowing a fuse in the amp is one thing, but definitely you want your sub to get all the power it needs for your movies.
Just don't plug anything into that outlet that is rated above the 100 Watt capacity it is spec'd for.

Better yet, don't use that outlet on the back of your receiver for anything. Use the wall outlet instead.
