Hi all,
have been owning 2 weeks. A few quetions hope you can help.

1. What cros-over freq you set?
2. In av-amp speaker-type setting, large or small?I use small for all speakers.
3. Is placing close to wall ok? 0.5 ft from back,1.5ft from left.Due to my room limitation, I can't move out the sub.

I set my 500 at bypass with the crossover on the reciever set at 80. All speakers set to small.
Placing next to a wall should be fine, it will give you a stronger bass response.

I set my crossover at 80Hz, but it really depends on what type of speakers you have. If you have satellite speakers, you may have to set your crossover a little higher if your speakers start to fall at 100Hz. You really should experiment to get the optimal setting, but 80Hz is pretty standard.

My speakers are set to small.

Setting it against the wall should not be a problem.

I set the sub crossover knob to bypass and the trim to flat. Also, turn the volume knob on the sub to around the 7o'clock position for initial setup. (all of this is explained in the pamphlet that comes with the sub)

I also use Small on all speakers with 80hz crossover on the receiver. However, I'm been experimenting with setting my M60's to large.
