measurement question

quick question about measurement. If anyone knows.

does 11" means 11 cm while 8' means 8 inches.
not too sure waht " vs ' means.

I don't know what this in reference to, but most cases 11" equals 11 inches and 8' equals 8 feet.

Are you on any medication? You've got me lost by your question.

11" means 11 inches
11cm means 11 centimeters
8' means 8 feet

Geez, must be nice to be that young. I was very comfortable with feet and inches when we went metric. Now we measure things just like everyone else in the world...

... except our largest trading partners.

If you ask me how big an M60 is, I'm still going to answer in inches. C'mon, Amie, admit it -- Axioms are still built in inches and converted to centimeters on the web site, right ?
