I am putting a system together for a friend and am leaning towards the M60ti,VP150,QS4 and EP150. If anyone in the area has a similar set-up and would not mind allowing me into their home,I would greatly appreciate it. I live in Green Brook.

Welcome L2L

Have you checked this thread? There is a map and a list you might check. Just send anyone a PM if you see a close member. Otherwise, send Amie at Axiom a PM and she might be able to help you out.

I'm not sure where Green Brook is in NJ, but I am in King of Prussia, PA with M22 VP150 QS8 and a VTF-2 if you are interested.

I live in Berkeley Heights, which is pretty close to Green Brook. I have the M22, VP100, and QS4.

It is so great when the audition idea really works.

Tarun,

Is your offer for an audition open to others as well? I'm in Bucks County, PA and would like the chance to hear M80s, etc before I decide to buy. I'm eyeing almost the same setup you have, though I'd like to overkill by getting the EP600.

I have tried a PM, but no reply.

Welcome Crewst,

Tarun is on the audition list at the top of this section, so I'm sure he would be fine with an audition. My guess is he will eventually get to his PM's. There is people in PA also with M60's which sound very similar to 80's.

Tarun has a close match to what I'd like to have, so that's why I'd like to hear his setup. I wouldn't mind hearing M60s, but from what I remember no one nearby has an EP500 or EP600, which is at least as important for me to hear as the M80s/60s. Specifically, I'm trying to decide if I like the EP500/600 as much as I like the Paradigm Servo-15.

I'll wait a bit and hopefully he'll reply.

His last post was about 2 weeks ago, so it could be that he doesn't get on here much. I'm lining up my movies for the Servo-15 test this weekend (purely subjective testing), and thought it'd be nice to hear his Axioms with the EP500 relatively soon.

subjective comments on the Servo-15 and a 10" paradigm (not sure if it was a servo or not)

We were a bit time constrained, but listned to various scenes (specifically from the SVS page of suggestions) from U571, Lord of the Rings, and some others. The bass was wonderful, as expected and my fiance was quite happy with it... she's actually enthusiastic now about getting the HT setup. After a trip to an A/V store to look at TVs (mmmm... 70" JVC LCOS) we checked out a setup with the 10" Paradigm... clearly not as deep as the big 15, but otherwise sounded great. The 15" gave us alot more room rumbling, exactly what I fear losing if I go to Axiom's EP600, depsite being told that it's very comparable to the Servo-15.

I have yet to hear from the NJ guy about auditioning his Axiom setup.

Just curious if you have been in touch with Tarun? If not, I will mention that you are looking for an audition. I know he recently upgraded the 500 to a 600, so, maybe now, more than ever, you would like to hear this set up. Anyhow...he's been quite busy travelling, back and forth to LA...so maybe that's why he hasn't responded.

See ya...
i.

Hey.
I am in Hillsborough, NJ and would love for you to audition the system. It needs to be tweaked somewhat...but it can be heard.

Let me know when and we can work it out.

-Tarun
