On sale right now at Costco. Either at a store or on-line.
Price is $2000 and you send in the $400 manufacture's rebate.
Hmmmmmm.......

Beware of the "camera" shops out of New York. Not sure about this one, but I have heard, and almost experienced my own, horror story about these placed. $1800 is a low price, but does it come in the full retail package? I was looking to get my Sanyo Z3 from a place like that. Low price, nice looking web page, etc. I ordered online, and then called in when I had a question right after the order. Found out that the Z3 was not in a retail box, and didn't include a remote or manuals. Warranty was like 60 days (instead of the standard 3 years)... In order to get the full package that I thought that I was ordering, it would have cost me another $200 or something. Nothing on the web said that it didn't come in the retail pacakge or anything. It just said that it was new and listed the specs off of Sanyo's site... Even the remote was pictured... What a scam!
Just check out these places before ordering. One good "camera" shop is B&H Photo. They are legit and sell retail boxed units. Maybe "BestPriceCameras" is good as well.

I've never used BestPriceCameras so I can't comment on their legitimacy. I always make it a priority to call any internet based companies prior to making a purchase.

Here's you can look at all the Brooklyn photo storefronts, BestPriceCamera a.k.a. J&K camera included http://donwiss.com/pictures/BrooklynStores/
Run, not walk from these stores. There several excellent photo stores in New York - B&H PhotoVideo, Adorama, 17th Street Photo and PhotoVillage to name a few. The majority of others are scam artists.

Guys,
For future reference, use this web sight to get on-line resaler ratings. http://www.resellerratings.com/seller8754.html
I find them to be very acurate.
No reviews for Axiom though......I think we should add a few.
