That does look very promising. I'm sure the first consumer iterations will be heinously expensive, too.

From what I have heard, early 2007 is extremely optimistic. I think they would be lucky to have it out by Christmas of 2007.

However, if it turns out like is sounds and you aren't planning on buying for another two years or so, it certainly has the potential to be a good option.

For me, I'm interested in seeing how the new Samsung LED DLP looks. I will likely get it or one of the new SXRD's when the next generation is released later this year.

But I would imagine that a 120" SED screen would be a bit pricey. hehe

They say SED's will get cheaper than LCD's. That's only going to happen when they start to completely replace LCD's.
