All,

Going to buy one of these on EBAY...NEW....so I can calibrate my projector and sound as per reference.

Before anyone says it...I have an SPL meter and I know how to do sound. I am basically buying this to adjust display on my Sany PLV-Z4 projector.

Any recommendations, advice? Which one is more updated and or better/worse?

Thanks,

Not sure about DVE, but AVIA doesn't have testtone for your rear surround speakers if you're using 6.1 or 7.1 system.

Also, my AVIA display calibration actually worsen the picture during dark scenes (showing macroblocking) but it looks better during bright outdoor scenes. There was no macroblocking showing prior to calibration. I had to reduce the brightness a bit from AVIA calibration to hide the macroblocking from showing.
