OK - I'm sold - I ordered the M3's today to replace my Bose Jewel Cube system (Lifestyle 30). I will need to purchase a reciever - I have two choices in my area and my budget -
Onkyo 494 or Harman Kardon 120 - any suggestions - the HK
appears to have more features albeit at $100 more than the Onkyo. Advice greatly appreciated.

I've had M3s for a couple of months matched first with a Denon 1602 and then with the 1802. The sound is so good that not one day has gone by without me saying wow at least once. I went to the 1802 for the phono stage and a couple of other features, but the sound was identical.

Either choice will be suitable to match with your speakers. When price and access is a limiting factor, perhaps you should look at the "must haves" and the "nice to haves" in terms of features.
Denon is also a capable choice, assuming they ahve a model in your budget.
