I watched the Sentinel on DVD tonight, and then decided to see what was on in HD. I came across US Open tennis. Agassi is playing in the 5th set and it is all tied up. It looks AWESOME on this new TV. HD helps a lot for tennis. The bigger TV with HD makes it much easier to see the ball, plus this is just a great match. These guys are really rallying back and forth. It's off to bed soon, but not until this ends.

Yeah Jason, CBS is showing that in 1080i, so the combination of the bigger screen, 1080 resolution, and reportedly very good de-interlacing by the Sony is giving you very close to full 1080p quality. Must look really good. Enjoy.

You should have watched the womens volleyball in HD during the last Olympics, mmmm mmmmm good.

 I was hoping to have the new tv in time to see the US Open, but things are moving slower than I'd hoped.
