I am building my first Home Theater. My contractor built a stage on my sreen wall for astetic purposes and after the fact I am finding it to be a problem. I can put a 100" screen on the wall but that would leave no room for the In Wall Speakers. The stage makes it impossible for me to use floor speakers becasue they would be too high and block the stage. My options are these 1) Tear down the stage 2) Put in-wall speakers IN the stage. The stage is three tiered. The otside two levels are 24' high boxes. The center is an 18' high box. My question is would I have any performance issues if I put in-wall speakers in these boxes. Would the fact that they are so close to the ground be an issue.
I am looking at the Axiom W22's for fronts. Thanks.

Do you have any pictures? That would help visualize options.
Oh, and welcome to the boards...

Another welcome, as Nick mentioned if you can provide a drawing or picture so we can picture your room, it would be easier to provide feedback. Demensions would also help. I also have a screen and stage. My front wall is 15ft wide and my screen is 10ft wide, that left me plenty of room on the sides for my m60's and bass traps in the corners...
