Hello folks, I am very new to bookshelf speakers as I am downgrading my system that I currently had because of my wifes cats.... The room I have is pretty small (about 12' X 12' with 12' ceilings). I am running an Onkyo SR804 reciever with a sunfire power amplifier, so I have plenty of amplification. I will be running the system with a Sunfire "True" subwoofer. My question is with this setup do you think the M22's are a better choice than the M3's?

Since you have a sub, I'd opt for the M22ti's.

12' x 12' x 12' ? ohhhhhhh not good for room acoustics. This worse case scenario is when all the dimensions are the same. Anyway, I would also say the 22's would be the way to go...

I really like my 22s. I run them with an EP350 sub in my main room. I have a pair of M3s in my office with a little 8" sub and they are great in the smaller room. They were great in the smaller room even without a sub. But for the theater I think the 22s with a sub is a better choice.
