Well I did it! I told Noreen to go ahead and change my order to M60's. The difference in price wasn't as big as I had thought. God, my neighbours are going to LOVE me lol...I guess I should also invest in some good headphones for that late night movie viewing. I usually try to have my movie viewing done before midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

Bridgman, I initially had my little guy caged and he was fine with it. Then I decided to keep him in my kitchen which is fairly large. However he started to chew the baseboards even though he had plenty of chew toys! After some short tests I found that he was actually better having the run of the house...err condo. He stopped chewing on the baseboards. I suspect he jumps on my bed and sleeps on it while I'm gone. When I come home I see little indentations near my pillow. I also have a cat so I'm pretty sure there's some chasing going on as well.

If your house was built more than 40 years ago and has shellac'ed (or varnished, I forget) baseboards apparently dogs find that VERY tasty. One of my friends had a 130 year old house and two large dogs -- the dogs pretty much ate all of the woodwork in the house.

Ahh, yes, one of my dogs is like that. If you let him sleep on something REALLY comfortable he's good for the whole day, particularly if he knows he's not supposed to sleep there.

One of my friends threatened to make a 1/3-scale couch for my dogs to sleep on when they're in the cage.

You have to watch out for lead paint, too, I'd imagine.

Let's not go there.

When I lived in the city it was warm enough that we didn't get much accumulation of snow over the winter, so I could poop-scoop through the winter.

Out here, the average temperatures are about 6 degrees lower and the precipitation is quite a bit higher. As a result, I was marvelling at how 50 pound bags of dog food were disappearing into the dogs while the snow covered up all the evidence.

Now it's spring. The melting snow lovingly deposits the accumulated droppings on the ground, creating what can only be described as an "endless sea of poop".

Forget the shovel, I'm thinking roto-tiller.

I don't see what's wrong with a 1/3 scale couch. I have 1/3 scale dogs, after all.

In my books there are only three sizes of dogs ranging from smallest to biggest.

The Yappers.
The Barkers.
and the Woofers.

Me I prefer a big dog with a good Woof!
