From left to right: a. Buttermilk dollar pancakes with real maple syrup b. Froached egg (this is a combination of fried and poached) on Cobbs country wheat toast treated with clover-alfalfa honey c. Diced, BBQd maple bison sausages d. Golden hashbrowns fried in canola oil and spiced with pepper, garlic & celery salt and oregano e. Freshly ground decaf Verona coffee with 8.3 ml of skim milk I'm glad I don't eat like that everyday. Now I feel like going back to bed :).

My favorite part is the pyrex dish you're serving it in.

That was the only dish in the house big enough to house my breakfast.

That sounds and looks just fantastic. Except the Decaf. Blech.
There's a diner we like for breakfast (chicken fried steak, natch). It's too big for ONE plate, so you get two.

I'm afraid mine would stop too! I mean..... .....really!! At the very least, after the syrup and pancakes, my ears would be ringing so loudly that listening to anything less than about 93db would be useless! Gettin' old SUX! ....well; at least the decaf wouldn't hurt.

You may be surprised to know that decaf tastes the same as caf.

Sad to say, but with the ticker troubles, it's the Doc that insists on the decaf...not me. Bummer. Maybe I need to try a different brand! Hey; Mojo!

Try the Verona decaf from Starbucks.

You may even be more surprised to know that decaf isn't. It's more like half-caf. So a Starbucks or Dunkin' decaf is like Folgers regular. Caffeine removal efficiences did improve some with supercritical CO2 over methylene chloride, but there's still some in there.

WOW...what a huge meal..I could make all that artery clogging goodness last for a full day! But why with such a bold breakfast would you 'wimp out' with skim milk??

Ya know; I just went back to the top and looked at all the care and love that went into picking and choosing each individual ingredient, and hey! If I were twenty years younger...uh, maybe just ten, maybe; that's just how I would do it! Yeah! Rich.

I used skim milk because I like to watch what I eat :D. I remember going to Disneyworld with a good friend years ago, and we stood in line for a while so he could amass a plateful of delectable pastries only to top it off with... a diet coke! Anyway, I've never had bison sausages... hmm sounds tasty!

This is the part where I mention I normally skip breakfast, and most days lunch too... then usually eat about 800 grams of fat and 10,000 calories for supper.
Yes, I know, this is absolutely the wrong way to eat... I'm lazy.

Diet coke will kill you. Better to imbibe a couple hundred extra calories than to have methanol in your body.

I hardly ever touch the stuff...never the diet soda. My fluid intake is mostly water, fruit juices and lately...gin!

Same here. Gave up soda years ago, and have pretty much stuck with water and fruit juice. Oh yeah, and gin, too.
