Hey everyone-
I'm trying to pick out a receiver for my new theater setup, which I talked about
here. To recap, I'm running a 7.1 setup, front:M22, cent:vp100, surr:qs8, rear:M2, sub SVS ultra12.
I want a receiver no more than about $500 (I'm okay buying refurb), that will give me full advantage of the new formats on my PS3. I've found the HK 645 for around 450, and the Onkyo 605 for about 400.
I keep trying to figure this out and all these formats are just killing me. I'd liketo be able to play the new uncompressed 5.1 formats and also be able to matrix them to play 7.1. Any suggestions?
