I'm set to order a M60ti pair, VP150, and MS-8 pair. I'm having trouble deciding on the subwoofer, though, as I'm not sure what one considers in this. The room is 15x13ft with carpeting (if that helps), and we listen to music 60% and movies 40%. Is the EP175 a good choice for us, or would the EP375 be better? Or do you have another recommendation? We're not looking for floorshaking vibration but something to round out the sound of music and give some zip to movies..

Thanks.

GLH,

I'm no expert, but I am a satisfied customer, so my opinion may have some value. I'm using M60s, VP150 and an EP175 in my room (18x14). The M60s have recently replaced a pair of PSB Image 4Ts. Prior to the arrival of the M60s, I always used the EP175 to fill in the bottom end for music. Not so any longer with the M60s. The M60s, especially in your small room, will likely not need a sub for music. As for the EP175 for movies, setting the M60s to small and all below the receiver's x-over point to the sub, it rattles my room with more than enough power and LFE for my tastes and needs, so I believe that you can expect even more spectacular results in your room. In sum , I think that the the EP175 will provide all the zip you require, no EP350 needed. Cheers!

DS.
