Hi,

Finally I just received my M80 system , now some questions for the experts, what will be the best settings on the woofer EP 500 ( for Phase, crossover, Trim setting) I will be using a Danon 3808cI receiver.
Also on the Danon they recommend using speakers with 6 to 16 ohms ? Axion are 4 ohms.......... any problems with that ?
thank you for some info.

No problems with the Denon, They are one of the companies Axiom recommends for the M80's. I have the same AVR and speakers and have had no problems what so ever. My older 1804 ran the M80s and even a load down around the 1 ohm range with out problems.

So far as the EP500 goes the general rule is the phase is 0, crossover on bypass, trim to flat and the the rest is upto you and the Audyssey. Most have said the Audyysey set the sub at -12 in the Denon, so they just bumped it up a notch or 2 to suit their own tastes. These are just starting points from here you acn try tweaking each one a little to see if it sounds better in your room.

same speakers and receiver here as well. Audessey set my sub to -10 db after I turned the gain down on the sub and recalibrated . I upped it to about -8.5 for movies, but it goes back down to -10 or -12 db for music.

The 3808 will have no problems driving your m80s.

Enjoy your new system!

The 3808 is becoming the popular denon receiver aroudn here it seems.

I love my 3808. I got home from work last night and went downstairs, hit the net input and just went through my music off the server. Love it, love it, love it.

For some reason TVersity has been acting up on me. half the time when I fire up my 3808 it shows the TVersity media server then it says (access not allowed) or something along those lines.

I have to walk back to my computer room and restart the server and it works fine... I wonder what could be causing this? MY winows media player network is always upa nd running.

I have just been using the network storage and streaming directly form it, could be the best $130 I have spent in a long time.
