Just curious if Mojo is on vacation or grounded from the forum?

Word in the Shout Box a few days ago was that he is dealing with some family issues now. Beyond that, no clue. Hope everything works itself out OK for him. We all need him around here so that you elders at the top of the post count have to keep looking in your rear-view mirror to see how fast he is gaining on you.

I was thinking the same thing. I hope all is well on the Mojo front. He's a really interesting guy, with a great family and unlike most of my other engineer friends, he's funny.
I just thought he's got his mojo workin'.

Hi all...I started the Mojo query in the shoutbox having missed his posts. Hope you're doing well, bud! Looking forward to your A1400-8 comparisons! I don't post as often as others, but I'm a daily lurker! It's emails, then Axiom forum!

Seriously, I hope things are OK with him. His absence was the first thing I noticed when I got back to the forum.

Now that someone was mentioning Lord of the Rings in another thread, I come to this one and am thinking of Mojo as Gandalf. As soon as he's done fighting the Balrog, he'll be back in brighter clothes, just watch.

Ummmm, you know Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world right? Maybe the 1st largest? I'm not really sure how Russia is divided up now. I believe it is still bigger whatever it's largest section is called.

Geez fellas, I'm sorry. I don't know what to say. I didn't think my absence would be so traumatic for you all . My father passed away on Jan. 13th, my mom & sister are a total mess and I've been dealing with funeral, estate matters, etc pretty much by myself. I didn't realize there is so much to do when someone moves on...especially when things aren't in order! I was supposed to meet with a couple of board members from Winnipeg when I was there but I had no time whatsoever. I barely even visited with my family because I was either running around during the day or doing paper-work at night. My father's mortality also woke me up from my rather inactive state. I realized I want to see my kids grow up before I have a heart attack so I've been working out daily since I came back from Winnipeg. So all that, coupled with the fact I am still learning the ins and outs of working for myself and swamped with a contract I'm working on and others knocking on my door has kept me off the board and most likely will continue to do so. With my trip to Winnipeg and busy schedule, I listened to my EPIC-80 system yesterday for the first time in almost a month! I enjoyed once again one of Alan's recommended selections "Jacques Loussier - The Best of Bach" in PLIIx:M and was immediately transported to a "better state". An amazing recording on amazing speakers. I have been listening to jazz through the audiobytes quite frequently though as I've been working and continue to really enjoy them. I am really glad I purchased them. You guys may want to check out this free jazz radio toolbar ; I love all the stations and the music quality. Oh, and I haven't burned out yet...although I may be very close.

It's nice to hear from you, even if it's just to hear that we won't be seeing you around here regularly. I'm sorry about your father.

Hey Tex,
Great to have you back, however, I am very sorry to hear about your father. I helped my father get things in order when my grandma passed away a few years ago. It can be difficult getting things in order at the same time your dealing with a loss of a family member.
Take care my friend.

Mo, my condolences on the loss of your father; may he rest in peace.
I was sure that your absence was due to some significant personal matter, and now it's completely understood. Estate planning is one of my practice areas and the complications certainly can be substantial.
Hope that you will be able to find the time to stop in occasionally.

Mojo: I'm sorry to hear of your Father's passing. I can't really say that I know what you're going through, as I haven't experienced it. You'll be in my thoughts.
Regarding the boards: I'm sure you're overwhelmed of late, but don't forget to come by and say hi pretty often. The fact that this thread exists shows that your "second family" here cares....
Again, please accept my condolences and let me know if there's anything I can do....

Mojo,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I lost mine nine years ago. The best advice I was given at the time was to be patient with myself. Sounds like you've got a mountain of responsibilities there. I know the feeling. But you also have a great audio set up that will let you escape into yourself. Music is my favorite place to escape to. Enjoy that at least.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

We will keep it at 1/2 watt around here until you return full swing.

Sorry for your loss and the subsequent unexpected burdens, Mojo. If there's anything that I can identify with in your situation, is that music is a fantastic healer, and I've escaped -- if only temporarily -- from many a tough ordeal with it.

Sorry for your loss, Tex.
When I was coping with the illness and loss of my Dad a few years ago, I distilled my survival and success strategy down to "Show up. Do your best. Be nice". I continue to rely on that mantra as I careen between situations.
Your family is lucky to have you.
Thanks for chiming in.
