Just got word that my speakers are on the way. Can't wait to give them a run through. Got lot's of good info from reading this forum before ordering. Thanks for that and I hope to add my review of the M3's soon.

How long after you placed your order did they ship?

Just waiting for my tax refund which should arrive any day.It was mailed out to me on Jan 28.I can get a good deal on the Polk RTi6's so I haven't 100 per cent made my mind up for the M3's yet.But I'm close.

Yep, the M3s are a great place to start. I started with M2s which was a mistake... not quite enough bass, so I added a subwoofer, and that was the start of the slippery slope to a full-blown home theater.

M3s are a much safer place to start. You can just enjoy them.

I too ordered a pair of M3s recently. Was your order confirmed initially via email and then when they shipped? I am can't seem to find any email confirmations so now I am wondering if I am crazy and THINK I ordered them. :-)

I think I might just be getting impatient. I guess I can always call. ... lol

UPDATE - I found my order confirmation. For some reason the gmail didn't find it but I did manually. wheeew! ... back to being impatient but knowing my order is in.

I did get confirmation via email that the order was confirmed and also an email that they were shipped. They showed up two days after the email. A happy man was I. Customer service is incredible. I absolutely love them and I'm sure you will too. More Axioms for me in the near future. Hang in there and get everything ready to fire them up.

Monoman, Glad to hear the M3's are on their way. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about them after you get some serious listening time in. I have mine going as often as possible. Congrats on your purchase and keep watching for that FedEx truck.

I felt like a kid this morning while waiting for the FedEx truck. Every time I heard a noise outside I was looking for that darn truck. I had found a piece of glass in the garage that I thought would make a nice shelf on my desk so I ran to Home Depot to get some 4" PVC couplers to use as shelf supports and gray spray paint. Pics should be below if I get this right.

So the shelf was done. Lunch came and went. Still no FedEx and I can't sit still. I decided to go surfing to take my mind off the FedEx truck. I came back exhausted after three hours of fun in the sun and found two Axiom boxes on my doorstep ... WOO-HOO!!!

I took my time unboxing them and getting them setup. I bought the factory blems and didn't see a mark on them ... sweet. Well I got em hooked up. PC -> Sonic Impact T-Amp -> Speakers. I think my next purchase is a USB DAC to ditch the PC soundcard.

Well how do they sound? So far they sound great. I have Winamp playing with the EQ off and a wide variety of music queued up.

Wide variety = Radiohead, Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, Aztec Camera, Bela Fleck, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Damien Rice, Donavan Frankenreiter, Eddie Harris, Hem, Israel Kamakawawiwo'le,
Neko Case, Ozomatli, RJD2, Billy Bragg & Wilco, Beastie Boys, Gomez, Joy Division, Southern Culture On The Skids, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sublime, Yusef Latef ... and the list keeps growing.

You must have a really small monitor because it makes those audiobytes look huge

It's just an optical illusion, that's a 52" screen with M40s.

It is a 22" wide. I guess I should have crouched down a bit. Oh well, a little lesson in perspective. :-)

Wow, he went to a lot of trouble making jumbo-sized props for the photo-shoot!

The jumbo headphones look real next to the m40's!

On a serious note- nice looking set up

Monoman, glad to see your speakers arrived on schedule. Finally got mine set up in my living room and hooked up to the rest of my equipment. They sound great. Hope you enjoy yours and get a chance to put them through their paces. As DG said, enjoy the music.
