Hi All,

I have finally place an order for Axiom speakers. I'm buying in 2 separate orders. As my home is nearing completion, i'm getting the contractors to lay wires for the surround speakers. I'm going for a 7.1 set up. Using QS8 for side and QS4 as rear after getting advice from Alan.

I ordered them from Factory outlet, hope they come out looking pretty ok. Nothing too obvious.

I'm not sure how many from Singapore has ordered from Axiom but i'll be glad to allow my place to give demonstration for those interested in Singapore after its fully completed.

Cheers from Singapore

Welcome to the club! Good thing you still have construction work going on so you won't focus on waiting for your speakers! ;\)

The speakers arrive this afternoon but no one was in. I'll have to call up FedEx to delivery on another date.

What a pity, could have had it my hands now.

Arrange for delivery today and my sis was around to help me sign for them.
When i got back from work, i saw the boxes in the room. Wow, finally.

Saw some damage on the VP150 box, so i opened up that box first. Checked the speakers, no visible damage. Replace my existing JBL centre speaker with the VP150.

WOW, the sound was much better. Louder and clearer.

Photos are on the way, soon as i download them to the pc.
Can i someone teach me how to attached pics? or it is better to have a photobucket account??

Please advice.

In order to include photos in your post, it is necessary to have them hosted somewhere on the internet. Many of us use Photobucket, but it is not the only place to host photos.

Should you opt to use photobucket, once you've created your account and uploaded your photos, you'll notice that beneath each photo there are 4 small boxes. The last of the 4 is "IMG Code." If you'll click on that box, you'll see a tiny message pop up which says "copied." That means the url to the photo, along with the img tags ([img] & [/img]), has been copied to your clipboard . All you need do, in order for the photo to show in your post, is paste what is on your clipboard into the posting form. Preview your post to be sure the photo is showing up properly.

Interesting choices, why QS8s and 4s and not 8s or 4s all around?

Hi Jason,

The reason why i use both QS8s and QS4s.

I originally wanted to use the M2 as rear surrounds and QS8s as side surrounds. So i wrote to Alan for his advice and opinion.

He recommended the QS4s in place of the M2s.

That's it.

Cheers,
Don

Hi Everyone,

I'm back.

Just moved in to my new place, and order the M80's.
They are on the way from the Fedex Hub in Newark.

Called up FedEx, they should arrive in Singapore by Tues, 16 Sept.

This time, i couldn't stand the wait so i just ordered from the main store and not factory outlet.

My neighbour came over to test out my Axioms and he liked it. Went on to purchase the M80's and VP150.

So now they are 2 known owners of Axiom Speakers in Singapore.

Way cool.

When it rains, it singapores. Congratulations on the new speakers and on converting someone. Here's hoping they arrive before the estimate!

I've missed out on a few auditions that turned into purchases, but as long as you are done with buying gear from Axiom it is no big deal. I said done with buying new gear\:D, is anybody ever really done with their HT.

My M80's arrived on sat, 3 day earlier than expected.

Took it out from the box, hooked it up.

Tested it with Michael Buble's Sway and Save the Last Dance.
Watch Transformers too.

It was so good, the sound was better than i expected it to be.

The last thing on my list is the EP350, waiting for the WFA before i can get it.

Congrats Asiatic - it's a lot of fun to set up your system in steps the way you are doing it. This way you get to appreciate each incremental addition and really hear what each speaker/sub adds to your setup. I look forward to hearing more about your impressions of the 80s as well as the 350 when (not if) you get it. \:\)
