Kiss - Hotter than Hell probably in 1976, I was eight.
Followed shortly after by Led Zeppelin IV (Zoso/Stairway to Heaven/"The Fourth Album" - whatever you want to call it)

I had fun reading through this thread. My first LP was The Beatles - Let It Be. My dad gave it to me for my birthday because I kept bugging him to play The Long and Winding Road. My first 45 was The Clovers - Here Comes Romance. My dad actually wrote the song and I have an old picture of him holding one of the first pressings. Great topic! Vinyl still rules!!
