Many thanks. The db ref is OK as we are comparing the exact same AVR. I listen loud at times. So yes, at times the vol is above 100db nominal. Like right now. I am working in my office which is 2 rooms away and listening to Hillsong Potters Hand and can feel it in here  Still haven;t found the SPL meter after the move.
