I'm sure that there is some other discussion thread on here that has been hijacked and turned into a "Happy Birthday Terzaghi" thread, but I thought that I would start an official one...
So Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, David!! You'll have to include a phonetic pronounciation guide for "terzaghi". Otherwise we resort to calling you other names. . .

Happy Birthday David!!!
I'm all out of snappy remarks for today so you will have to settle for a genuine happy birthday wish.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes! Terzaghi is pronounced: Ter-za-gee ter- (like "turd" without the d) za- (like "awe" with a z in the front) ghi- (like "geek" without the k) Now please refrain from calling me turd-awe-geek. Karl von Terzaghi (whom I stole the name from) is known as the father of soil mechanics, info here: http://www.ejge.com/People/Terzaghi/Terzaghi.htm

Cheers!
I never really spent much time concerning myself with Soil Mechanics before. I love to learn!
