I just saw the thread about the 160GB PS3 and did some checking. I ran across something on the sonystyle.com website that may be of interest to someone ready to buy.They have an offer you might like: They have an offer you might likeYou apply for the card online (instant review/approval), get the card # right then, order the PS3 from sonystyle using that number. Then, within 8-12 weeks, they issue a credit to your Sony Visa account for $150 (because the purchase is over $299. But wait - there's MORE!!!! Free shipping and no interest for 12 months. This is the way I bought mine and I got my credit (right on my bill) within 5 weeks. This gets you a $399 system for $249 + tax. Not bad.

Hmmm, wonder if I can get it done under the radar ... I just bought (*had* to have it) a 1kW thru-hull transducer for the boat day before yesterday that set me back a grand without installation, wife's birthday is tomorrow so I just dropped several coins on a necklace I'm hoping she'll like and I'd sure like to have a Blu-Ray player, I'll have to see what we can do. That's not a bad deal.  Thanks Ray!

Just go to www.sonystyle.com and there's a link on the main page to their "No interest financing for 24 months on purchases $299.99 and over through 9/3." promo in red letters.

I wouldn't do this if you want to buy a house soon... more credit lines you get, the lower your score.
