Do you have it blowing into the receiver or blowing out of it? It is sucking air out of the reciever, blowing it up.

hopefully it doesn't break with a voided warranty! Why would the warranty be voided? The fan is plugged in the AC outlet. There is not mod done to the reciever at all.

ooops... I skimmed this pretty quick and thought you had modded the fan into the receiver somehow.
