We watched Wall-E on Blu-ray last night, I enjoyed it better the second time around at home, great picture and sound.

Baraka was fun. Can't say it's the best I've ever seen, but it was very interesting to watch. Perfect to have on in the background while doing something else. I think I would've been a little bored just watching it for the whole time (but I have a short attention span)

I've watched it twice, and I'm in no rush to watch it again. I think it's one of those films that's cool to have seen, but its entertainment value is hard to recycle.

I finally got around to watching all of WALL•E on Blu-ray, along with the documentary, "The Pixar Story" by Leslie Iwerks. Their finished productions make it look easy, but seeing how the company has struggled in the past and how it has to push itself with each new release really makes you see why they're at the top of their field.
Like Michael, I enjoyed WALL•E more the second time, but that's not to say I didn't like it the first time. I think I appreciated the story a little more and some of the finer touches, and of course the audio is more impressive on my home system than at the local theater. Very fun.

Cloverfield on Blu-ray. I hadn't seen it before, and I wasn't expecting much, going by the less-than-stellar word-of-mouth I'd encountered, but I thought it was decent for what it was, and the sound was a lot of fun.

The little feature on sound design in the WALL•E special features is really cool, too. Ben Burtt is insane.

Watched WALL-E Friday night (first time). Enjoyed it very much but it didn't knock me out. I'm encouraged to read that a couple of you enjoyed it more the second time. Come to think of it, I enjoyed Ratatouille more the second time. Maybe with first-time-viewing we are struggling with unrealistically high expectations. Haven't gotten into the second disc of special features yet, but I did watch the extras on the first disc. Absolutely LOVED the Presto cartoon. It was reminiscent of the WB cartoons I grew up with. Just LOVED it.

I watched the Blu-Ray version of Patton last night, great warrior, excellent movie. I hope the other great war movies start coming out in BR, it sure does make for a much improved viewing difference.
