Hey all,

This is a bit of a noob post, but I thought I would run it past you folks here. I have a pair of QS8s and a VP150 on the way to complete my home theater. Everything (M3TIs, VP150, QS8s and a self-powered Energy 10") will be plugged into a H/K AVR520. Will this reciever have any problems powering the QS8s and VP150? They run at 6ohms, whereas the M3TIs are 8ohm. Any issues there?

Any thoughts on this? I cannot WAIT to get everything set up and configured

Thanks for the help!

No issues, period.

The H/K will have no problems driving 6-ohm (or even 4-ohm) loads. Connecting speakers with different ohmages to the same receiver will not cause any problems, either.

Good deal. That is what I thought, but I wanted to double check. Thanks sushi!

The new surrounds, speaker stand, and av stand all arrived today. I've got to work the rest of the weekend, but come Monday, I should have everything up and running
