I believe I read somewhere, but don't remember where that if you're using multiple subs you should use subs with similar performance. It stated that otherwise you will limit the bass to the output of the inferior sub.

I currently own the ep350 v3. After reading some reviews and comparisons done on this board of the PB13-U I I'm considering getting one in the future. If I do this should I keep the ep350 and run them both or would I be better off just using the PB13-U.

I also read that the SVS is not as musical as the axiom subs so another alternative is to keep the ep for music listening and use the svs for HT.

I have 350's and a 600, and it works fine.

Thanks sirwuack. Can you elaborate? Was it difficult to "blend" the two subs together? Do you have to run the 350 a little hot in order to keep up with the 600? Does the 350 make a large impact in your setup or can you barely tell the difference when you turn it off?

I don't think it was hard to blend them, and not sure the human ear can tell the difference below 80hz. The 350's are up front and the 600 is in the back of the room. All the subs are calibrated to the same SPL 75dB seperately using a Radio Shack meter, and then all turned on. If I was to run them "hot" they would not be calibrated to the other speakers/sub. I can tell a huge difference if my 350's are turned off. The whole point is flatter freq response in all seats.

The 350 will add just enough to help even things out in the room with the PB13. \:\)
